"It's Willy "B" (nights, WRKO-1978/79) and I am so
Very Impressed (and touched) with the Magnitude-not to mention Heart and
Soul-and Time Spent in doing this incredible sight! On behalf of all the
Radio Geeks (i.e.; me, etc) your work is much appreciated!
Thanks-a-Million for keeping the Era ALIVE!"
"I came to Boston from Ten-Q, Los Angeles at age 21 and still have to
pinch myself to realize that being at that legendary station actually
happened! Unfortunately, I didn't stay as long as I should've...first
vacation was back to San Diego (where I'd done pm drive at B100) and was
Instantly offered morning drive amid the palm trees and beach! Plus, it
was the end of CHR on AM...but at least I can say 'I was there')" |

"After mornings at Magic 91 San Diego I spent some time back in L.A. at
KIIS-FM, then 8 years in Baltimore (B104), later; Sacramento, Austin and
now in my 8th year in New Orleans...was even voted Billboard "Jock of
the Year" in '89...Blah-blah."
"I have lots of pictures of the facility (in and out) and of course
airchecks...they are in storage but I will hunt them down like an animal
and send such to you (if I can FIND it)."
"Sorry to ramble on...I'm on the air at the moment and should be doing
the ole' show...but THIS SITE struck a chord and had to let you know
how much I appreciate it, and am Sincerely Flattered to be included!
All the Best! I'll be in touch!"
